Hey, let me tell you a quick story real quick.
So I had a student once who told me that she always completely blew her interviews.

I was like, “What?”, because her English skills were actually really good. So she explained what she meant. She never got a call back. She was very qualified but when the interview would happen she would panic, her mind would go blank, she would freeze.

And so she though that it was because she didn’t have good English skills. But actually it was something else. So I used the weird method on her and we trained her to be able to respond in high pressure situations without panicking or freezing. And it worked really well.

So we practiced and practiced. Then a week later, she tells me, “I have an interview.” And I told her, “Just remember what we practiced, you’re going to be fine. We’ve now retrained your brain.

And so, then she goes to the interview. And a couple weeks later, she tells me, “I got the job.”

So you know, it’s moment’s like that right? That’s what it’s all about. So it is very possible to perform in high stakes situations without freezing or panicking. It’s just a matter of training. That is why I developed the wierd method.
