In this quick English lesson, you’ll learn the meaning of the phrase “head out.” Spoiler: it’s not about your head! 😂 Instead, it’s a casual way to say leave or go. Example: “Alright, I’m gonna head out.”

We often use the word “head” in place of “go” or “leave”.

Example 1: “I’m heading to the store later. Want to come?”

Example 2: “I usually head to work around 8 or 9.”
